Our 6-week Junior Gundog: Foundation Training Course is the fourth course level we offer.
This course is for dogs who have already developed the skills that we train on Beginner Gundog Improver Course and are at a level where they can pass our Beginner Gundog Fieldwork Test.
At this level we start to focus heavily on the field skills that are needed as part of regular gundog work and provide your dog with a chance to have plenty of fun doing what he loves.
Videos Demonstrating Every Exercise
To accompany the training, you will 
receive access to our Online Junior Gundog Course within our Gundog Training Academy.
This contains over 30 video demonstrations taking you, step-by-step, through every single training exercise we cover in the classes. There are also detailed notes with every training exercise should you need more information to support you.
The online content will provide you with a clear structure to follow in your training sessions at home.

This course leads to the second part of our Junior Gundog Training, the 6-week Junior Improver Course.

- Heelwork: (off-lead)
- Steadiness
- Recall from distractions
- Stop Whistle
- Marked Retrieves: at distance and in cover
- Memory Retrieves
- Delivery of Retrieve: to hand
- Directional Control: Casting Left and Right
- Hunting Pattern & Turn Whistle*
